Eli Manning's 'Saturday Night Live' monologue

You know, I grew up in New Orleans, went to school in Mississippi but I gotta say, I finally feel like a real New Yorker," said Manning. "It took a few years, but now I'm an expert." And with that, he dispensed with the recommendations for advice-seeking audience members. The best place to get a Italian food in New York? "Well, there's a great place called the Olive Garden … you gotta go to New Jersey but it's worth it."

Want to see a Broadway show? Eli's got you covered: "You gotta see 'Cats.' It's cats who can sing! … You know what, even if it's not playing, do what I do: put the 'Cats' soundtrack on your iPod, then go to the pet store and look at some cats. It's like you're watching a bunch of singing cats!"

For a proper review of Manning's performance, here's more from the Hollywood Reporter.

And because we're always drawing parallels between the Manning brothers, here's Peyton's SNL monologue from March 24, 2007, a month after the Colts beat the Bears in the Super Bowl.
